History

OSAMA started its activity in 1997, however, actual trading has been introduced already in 1994 when the individual company was established and it was decided to bring to Lithuania coloured plastic bags with handles. The first batch of 15 boxes was transported from the Warsaw passenger train compartment.

The product, its price and distribution was suitable for the market and business started growing.
The bags have already ceased to be carried in passenger compartments and we shifted to minibuses and later to big trucks. The assortment was complemented by broth in glass jars, tea, and coffee, and other. In 1997, when the company ‘Osama’ was established in Kaunas, staff team of about ten experienced employees was already formed. In the same year the branches were opened in Vilnius, Klaipėda, Šiauliai and Panevėžys. In 2002 the branch in Latvia was set up - Osama Distributors.

In the year 2012, company started to develop vending machines division. Today in Lithuania and Latvia it is engaged in the lease and trade of coffee and other hot drinks and water apparatus. We offer machines for offices and large companies.

In 2016 launched cool logistics, which requires a special temperature mode.

The range of products represented by the company was expanding. Economic segment products which ensured the fastest growth of the company at the beginning of the business gradually were replaced with high quality products.
